As communicated to all the team leaders, we have made 2 changes:

1. Updated Schedule
Round of 16: 27th to 29th December 2011 (no change)
Quarter Finals: 30th December -2nd Jan 2012 (perferably no games on 31st or 1st, up to the teams)
Semi Finals: 3rd – 5th Jan 2012
Finals/Third Place playoffs:  6th-8th Jan 2012

We believe this schedule is more comfortable for all teams involved and everybody can enjoy their New Year holidays.

2. MVP prize (4 x Keyboard + 4 x Mouse) changed to 4th Place Prize. 5th-8th placed teams also get a free 1 month subscription of a Fragnetics.com 32p BF3 server.

One of the round of 16 matches also took place yesterday, with MBT Abrams winning Decade of Wars 249-0. More games are expected to be played tonight so stay tuned for tomorrow’s report!

Depending on the progression of the teams, we would like to reshuffle the brackets and offer “country protection” for the quarter finals (i.e no 2 teams from the same country play each other). More details will be out this Friday once all the teams are confirmed.

The signups have been going well and we are near/over the 16 teams signup limit (good spread across the region) already depending on when you’re reading this. We have also received a lot of questions and here are some of them with our answers

Common Questions:
1. Will B2K maps be run in the mapcycle – No
2. What maps will be included then? – We’ll finalize on 19/12 (Monday).
3. Map Size? – Conquest Small (the one with flags designed for <=32 players)
4. Can you change the dates? Holidays are bad for gaming mmkay – Sorry can’t for many reasons
5. My team is not from the listed countries, can we join? – No
6. Ahhh we can’t make it this time round. Will there be more competitions in 2012? – Yes – even bigger team list and prize pot
7. Where will the games be played? – On designated Singapore servers. Not advisable to join if ping >250ms to Gamers.com.sg servers
